My Hen's out on the town in HK

My sweetest friend Sarah (Ruby) planned an absolutely SUPER FABULOUS Hen's night for me on the 24th March 2007, if anyone ever needs a party planner then this is your girl.

We started the night on the roof top of Sarah's building, thank goodness the weather had cleared, as it was raining earlier in the day. Sarah had decorated the roof top beautifully. I believe Karla pitched in aswell, thanks you guys. Considering there is no elevator in the building, it was pretty tough carting everything up and down 6 flights of stairs all the time!! Once everyone arrived they could relax and get warmed up for the evening by either having a manicure or a pedicure.

A couple of tasks had to be fufilled throught the evening, to name but a few, 'get a business card from an out of towner". we found a South African. 'Sit on the lap of a guy named Paul" Rachael found our Paul he was very friendly. 'Have someone have a body shot off me" this was done after I lay down on the bar counter and a guy had a body shot off my stomach.. ha ha it was sticky. " Go behind the bar and pour a drink" I was pretty frazzeled by this stage so I think most of the drink ended up on the floor but heh I still did it.




Have my foot massaged" that was easy although I did not have a pedicure but feet still looked ok (-: The night ended with Foxlove, Ruby, Sugar lips and myself at a shisha bar having hubbly bubbly but thats where my drunken state got the better of me and I had to head home, thanks to Rachael, my trusted friend, she made sure I got home safely!!
It was a fabulous evening, I was so spoilt!!! Thank you everyone for the great giifts, they will certainly provide lots of entertainment especially on the honeymoon (-:

We all had feather boas and pornstar nick names, and the rule was that if you called someone by their own name, well you had to drink. Lots of jello shots were had by all. We played a couple of games, like "how well do Paul and I know each other" !!! Not very well as I was putting back those shots like there was no tomorrow. I think I was being crooked, I think I drank when I got the answers right aswell. Some say I couldn't answer the question that asked where Paul and I went on our first date?? I couldn't geepers I must of had one to many already. The other games were how well do you know Gill oops Foxy, it was a multiple choice/guess game, great fun, nobody realised I am terrified of a weed-eater, also goes by the name of wipper snipper or hedge trimmer. Yip hate those things!!! Then it was which girl had what in her purse. Natalie oops again Lovefox won by far, I think she even had a philips screwdriver in her purse ha ha or was it Ruby who won??? I'm not sure I think I was just a bit typsy by then.





We all jumped into taxi's and headed to Lan Kwai Fong, first stop was the Russian Ice Bar, where some silly russian took off his shirt and took 10 pictures of himself with my camera, GROCE. All deleted, thank goodness for digital.

Dan and Penny's Wedding Feb 07

Paul had the honour of being Dan's best man at their wedding which was held at Misty Hills Country Hotel in Josi on the 17th February 2007

We were all melting, their wedding was at 3:00p.m. and the temperature was around 32C, how those boys survived in those suits I don't know.



The picture of the boys are Paul's school mates, they were called the sexy 6, one is missing I know. They are all still great friends!! I guess friends are the family we choose for ourselves!

Pete and Elmien's wedding Feb 07'

Pete and Elmien chose a gorgeous location for their wedding, they got married at a World heritage Site called the Cradle of Human Kind, which lies just outside Johannesburg. The reception was held at the Cradle restaurant, and what a perfect setting it was, if you look at the photo you will see the rolling hills of the Magliesburg mountains in the backround, the restaurant was all open air. It was a perfect day aswell, the sunset was spectacular and when nightfall came the stars brightened the night sky.

Another hot gorgeous day in Africa. Congrats to the happy couple!!!

Pamper Party

My special Bridesmaids Sharon and Bronwyn quickly threw together a fantastic champagne breakfast surprise party for me while I was in Josi in Feb. They had such limited time to plan it but it really turned out great!!

I was beautifully dressed in a fairy outfit, with wings and even a magic wand. Luckily I did not have to walk around Broadachers Garden Centre looking like this (thanks girls)
although it was pretty cute I thought!

I was so extremely spoilt, I have gorgeous underware for every day of the week for a month, and lots of beauty and pamper products. Thanks so much everyone, I felt really special.
